In this role you support and optimize cutting-edge trading infrastructure within a fast-paced, non-bureaucratic environment. You will partner with software engineers to align technical solutions with trading strategies, focusing on reliability, performance, and timely problem resolution. You’ll work on market data delivery, order management, and monitoring while shaping future support architectures. This position offers exposure to top-tier trading systems and significant impact on firm-wide operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Widley-deployed order management system
  • Manage market data delivery systems
  • Assist in designing and implementing a more reliable support system
  • Provide level 1 and 2 production support
  • Monitor and report on system status
  • Serve as initial technical contact for brokers and exchanges
  • Architect new solutions
  • Troubleshoot and analyze performance issues
Key requirements
  • 1-3 years in a trading environment
  • Bachelor in STEM subject
  • Excellent scripting in Python/Perl/Bash
  • Linux experience
  • Understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Java skills are a plus
  • Strong problem-solving attitude
