Junior MySQL Database Administrator

Build MySQL expertise at Hybrid Financial through strong SQL, query optimization, and hands-on database administration with an engineering team.

As a Junior Database Administrator, you will work alongside a senior DBA supporting databases behind internal financial-services execution platforms. You will deepen database expertise through performance monitoring, schema design, security, backups, and collaboration with developers. Strong recent graduates with real experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, review, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot slow queries and database issues
• Design and maintain database schemas and indexes
• Support backups, restores, security, and access management
• Document database structures, processes, and changes clearly

Requirements:

• Two to five years of hands-on database experience preferred
• Strong SQL knowledge, including complex queries and indexing
• Experience with MySQL and relational database design
• Understanding of backups, recovery, security, and performance monitoring
• Ability to explain problems and thinking clearly
