Junior .NET Developer- Swindon

In this role, you will support and extend established .NET applications while contributing to new system developments. You’ll work with a cross‑functional team to deliver high‑quality software and provide technical guidance to stakeholders. • Support and improve existing .NET systems and contribute to new developments
• Plan work packages to defined timescales and quality standards
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders to provide expert technical guidance
• Create or contribute to designs and documentation for system support and development
• Represent the team in change management meetings when needed

• Proven experience in web application development
• Previous .NET development experience
• Knowledge of web services using WCF
• Knowledge of Windows services
• Knowledge of JavaScript
• Demonstrable .NET development practices and ability to design, build and maintain reusable code
• Demonstrable SQL skills including stored procedures and query optimization
• Experience with change control management tools
• Knowledge of XML and XSD
