Junior PHP Laravel Web Developer

Build PHP/Laravel applications at Conexus Nuclear Inc. in Toronto, developing server-side and front-end components with remote work one to three days weekly.

As a Junior Web Developer, you will support custom applications for internal tools, business processes, and operational workflows. You will write maintainable code, develop RESTful APIs, work with relational databases, and collaborate with senior developers and business stakeholders. The position offers experience across the application development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain PHP/Laravel application features
• Produce functional reports and protect data integrity
• Translate user requirements into technical application requirements
• Review, debug, document, and modify existing applications
• Provide application support and resolve problems

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• At least two years developing commercial web applications
• Knowledge of PHP, Laravel, REST APIs, and JSON
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
