Junior Software Developer

In this role you will join a small, collaborative in-house development team to build bespoke software and AI-enabled tools for a legal-industry business. You’ll contribute across the software lifecycle and gain hands-on experience with Python, Azure, and backend development while taking ownership of meaningful projects. • Develop applications, tools and automations that support the wider business
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle from problem understanding to design, build, test and improve
• Collaborate with a small in-house team and broader business to deliver solutions

• 1–2 years of commercial software development experience
• Working knowledge of Python and backend development
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure or cloud deployment experience
• Understanding of APIs and databases and how systems interact
• Methodical problem-solving approach and willingness to tackle unfamiliar challenges
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• Interest in personal development and capability to discuss self-initiated projects
