Overview
In this role you design, implement, test, and maintain a service-oriented kdb+ architecture, collaborating with researchers and traders. You normalize diverse datasets to support a unified model of reality and build scalable data infrastructure exposed to users worldwide. You own key infrastructure components and provide level 2+ support for critical services during live trading. This position offers impact across data-focused platforms and the chance to shape how data drives decisions in a fast-paced trading environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to advance robust, scalable systems.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with researchers and traders to design and implement service-oriented kdb+ architecture
- Design and normalize datasets to support a consistent data model
- Build robust, scalable infrastructure to expose data to users globally
- Own key parts of the infrastructure and provide level 2+ support during live trading
- Test and maintain critical services and ensure reliability in production
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject
- Up to 4 years of experience with kdb+/q
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and grow with the team
