Overview

In this role you will apply Python to build critical software that supports trading and research at Squarepoint. You will work across core tooling, data pipelines feeding predictive models, and products used by traders and researchers. You’ll collaborate with developers and quants to scale solutions that drive the investment business. You’ll learn from experienced teammates while tackling impactful, scalable problems. This is an opportunity to contribute to finance tech at scale and advance your craft.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain core tooling and frameworks used across platforms
  • Build and optimize data pipelines powering predictive models for research and trading
  • Deliver software products used by traders and researchers worldwide
  • Collaborate with software engineers and quant researchers to enable growth of the investment business
  • Solve problems at scale and learn from a high-performing team
Key requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, Physics, Quantitative Finance, or Financial Engineering/MFE
  • Up to 4 years of experience in software or quant development or similar
  • Experience with Python, Git, and Linux
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies
