Role Overview

- Contract: 12 Months
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Local Time)
We are recruiting a Junior Software Engineer to join a technology team within a leading financial services environment.
This is a great opportunity for a junior full-stack developer with 1+ year of commercial experience who wants to grow their skills while working alongside experienced engineers.
Key Skills Required
- 1+ year commercial full-stack development experience
- Node.js & TypeScript - hands-on experience
- React or Angular - frontend development
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Experience with Git / version control
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and work under senior engineers
What You'll Do
- Develop frontend features using React or Angular
- Build backend services and APIs using Node.js & TypeScript
- Integrate applications with APIs and data stores
- Write and maintain automated tests
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews
- Support bug fixing and minor operational issues
- Follow established coding, security, and SDLC practices
