Junior SQL Performance Database Administrator

This Junior Database Administrator role supports the databases used by internal execution platforms serving financial-services operations. You will investigate slow queries, improve stored procedures, maintain indexes, and help protect data through reliable administration practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot database issues
• Optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Implement data integrity and reliability best practices
• Provide database coverage when the senior DBA is away
• Work with developers on application database usage

Requirements:

• Strong SQL knowledge, query optimization, and indexing experience
• Two to five years of database experience preferred
• Experience with MySQL databases
