Overview

In this role you will support IT and development efforts in a small energy analytics firm, balancing infrastructure maintenance with product support. You will collaborate with the development team to build new capabilities and maintain current systems. The position offers autonomy across a varied technology stack and hands-on problem solving. You will help automate data workflows, document processes, and provide daily IT support from a London base.

Responsibilities
  • Write scripts for automated data collection, processing and business support routines
  • Prepare documentation and knowledge base
  • Perform daily infrastructure status checks and reporting
  • Provide daily user IT support and issue resolution
  • Apply systems and applications updates
  • Collaborate with the development team to create new products and support the current infrastructure
Key requirements
  • Degree with a Comp Sci or Development focus
  • Basic knowledge of IT operating systems
  • Experience writing SQL queries and data modeling
  • Linux
  • Perl or other scripting language knowledge
  • Keen to learn and be trained
