Overview
In this role you will support IT and development efforts in a small energy analytics firm, balancing infrastructure maintenance with product support. You will collaborate with the development team to build new capabilities and maintain current systems. The position offers autonomy across a varied technology stack and hands-on problem solving. You will help automate data workflows, document processes, and provide daily IT support from a London base.
Responsibilities- Write scripts for automated data collection, processing and business support routines
- Prepare documentation and knowledge base
- Perform daily infrastructure status checks and reporting
- Provide daily user IT support and issue resolution
- Apply systems and applications updates
- Collaborate with the development team to create new products and support the current infrastructure
- Degree with a Comp Sci or Development focus
- Basic knowledge of IT operating systems
- Experience writing SQL queries and data modeling
- Linux
- Perl or other scripting language knowledge
