Junior Technology Risk Auditor

Assess IT controls and analyze technology risks as a Junior Auditor with BDO in Toronto or Calgary, using Excel and Alteryx.

This junior position supports BDO’s Technology Risk Assurance group across financial statement audits, SOX 404 engagements, and SOC reporting. You will review internal controls, prepare working papers, and develop client recommendations. The work spans industries and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess IT General Controls for audits and SOX 404 engagements
• Deliver project work for SOC 1, CSAE 3416, and SOC 2
• Test business processes and internal controls for effectiveness
• Prepare risk assessments, analyses, recommendations, and reporting documents
• Perform data analytics using Excel, Alteryx, or approved platforms

Requirements:

• University degree, certificate, or diploma in a relevant discipline
• Working toward or planning CPA or CISA designation
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Commitment to outstanding client service and teamwork
