Junior Trading Engineer

In this role you will support and evolve high-performance trading systems for a global prop trading firm. You’ll collaborate with Quantitative Traders and Fundamental Analysts to ensure robust, data-intensive applications and infrastructure. You’ll contribute to development efforts, monitor system health, and assist with releases and strategy parameter rollouts. This is a hands-on, tech-driven role with fast-paced, collaborative problem solving at the core.

• Monitor UK/US trading application health and triage issues to traders
• Ensure data capture services are running reliably
• Contribute to software development and small enhancements to trader applications
• Assist with new release testing
• Help traders and quants roll out and test new strategy parameters
• Understand system architecture and metrics
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy robust solutions

• STEM degree
• Demonstrable interest in technology
• Good understanding of Linux
• Python or another programming language
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and support rollout of solutions
