Overview

In this role you will support and design highly available trading infrastructure to enable traders and engineers to run applications at the cutting edge. You will join a small global team focused on a new trading business, collaborating across desks and developers to minimize downtime and recover quickly from incidents. The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, efficient deployment, and robust configuration processes to sustain performance in a fast-paced, finance-focused environment. This is a hands-on position with strong collaboration and a clear path to grow in production reliability and automation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and support highly available trading systems across a diverse tech stack
  • Provide production support for trading desks, developers and internal teams
  • Improve deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes to reduce downtime
  • Develop and maintain automation and monitoring tools to streamline rollout procedures
  • Proactively detect and resolve issues before they impact trading activities
  • Collaborate with traders, developers and other engineering teams in a global, hybrid environment
Key requirements
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems and high-performance applications
  • Minimum 1 year in trade support, app support or site reliability engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
  • Exposure to VCS, particularly Git/Github
  • Scripting abilities in Python and Bash
  • Comfortable with SQL
  • Linux and command-line proficiency
  • Financial services experience
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing proprietary automation and monitoring tools
  • Strong communication across globally distributed teams
