As Senior Software Engineer in the Event Fabric team, you will help design and evolve a core enterprise platform for event-driven architecture. You’ll build scalable, secure, and observable platform capabilities that enable teams to publish, consume, govern, and operate events at scale. You collaborate across product, architecture, and engineering to align platform work with business needs, while mentoring others and upholding modern engineering standards. This role offers impact across the organization through foundational platform work and technical leadership.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and operate Event Fabric capabilities for distributed, asynchronous integration
- Contribute to platform standards, patterns, and best practices
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to align with business and regulatory needs
- Mentor engineers and promote high standards of code quality, testing, and operational readiness
- Promote secure coding practices and robust testing; participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Stay abreast of technology trends and contribute to technology communities
- Experience designing, building, and operating production-grade platform components
- Strong Java engineering with Spring Boot
- DevOps and CI/CD understanding, including automated testing and infrastructure as code
- Experience with event-driven, distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, and cloud platforms (AWS)
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others
- Understanding of security, scalability, and observability considerations
- Knowledge of service boundaries, integration contracts, and non-functional requirements
