Overview

As a Senior KDB Developer, you will deliver advanced data solutions for global financial institutions. You’ll work within a consulting practice, acting as a subject matter expert on KX products and shaping architecture and code across the full software lifecycle. You’ll engage with clients to capture requirements, deploy applications, and support data access and querying. This role emphasizes proactive learning, cross‑functional collaboration, and impact through scalable time-series data solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as SME for KX product installations and customization
  • Contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment across the full software lifecycle
  • Collaborate with global clients to understand requirements and integration needs
  • Deploy applications, configure user setups, troubleshoot issues, and provide training
  • Assist users with data access and querying
Key requirements
  • 3+ years in software engineering/development using KDB+/Q
  • Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology
  • Proven ability to deliver software solutions in Java, C++, or Python
  • Experience with deployment tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity
  • Self-starter with proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools
