About the Department

  • Part of Credit & Portfolio Management Americas, Loan Transaction Coordination is a transversal team serving the CIB Americas Corporate Platform while focusing on three key missions:
  • Serve as the first level of control to safeguard the Bank by applying effective, accurate and timely controls to address regulatory, compliance, operational and credit risks.
  • Provide client service and transaction execution support to facilitate best-in-class solutions for our clients.
  • Perform tasks requiring situational banker support, complex transaction management, and specialized sector knowledge.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Credit Protection / Risk Mitigation and Data Analysis

  • Assist in security package key data quality indicator monitoring (, conduct checks, investigate anomalies, and work with ITO and the Central Data Office to maintain high level of compliance with security packages).
  • Assist in implementation of End-to-End Capital Requirements under Basel IV Operational
  • Framework such as monitoring of freshness of collateral valuation and insurance monitoring.

KPI and KRI Monitoring

  • Assist in annual review monitoring and preparation of management reports.
  • Assist in monitoring and escalation of principal, interest, and fee past dues.
  • Assist in current BAU topics and resolving stalled exceptions such as missing legal documents, overdue covenants, early warning signals, derivatives excess, rating triggers backtesting, etc.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist in other data collection/remediation and ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Encouraged to proactively foster ideas to improve the team, to efficiently achieve its missions

and add value to the Corporate Platform ( streamline, automation)

  • Engage with relevant team leaders and stakeholders and contribute to the implementation

of these ideas as needed

Preferred qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree with a preference for Finance/Data Analytics preferred.
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Word, Excel (VBA an asset) and PowerPoint.
  • Data Analytics and/or Data Management skills a strong asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Work collaboratively within the team and a team player
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Flexibility in changing work environment
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and topics
