We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to support laboratory operations by ensuring the accuracy and compliance of laboratory equipment calibration records . The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing calibration data, maintaining equipment performance, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments .
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify laboratory equipment calibration data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor calibration schedules and support timely completion of preventive maintenance activities.
- Investigate calibration discrepancies and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Troubleshoot laboratory equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance activities as required.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel, quality teams, and maintenance groups to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to laboratory equipment performance and compliance.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related technical field.
- Experience working with laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, or instrumentation .
- Strong understanding of calibration records, documentation practices, and regulatory compliance requirements .
- Hands‑on experience troubleshooting laboratory instruments and diagnosing technical issues .
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and resolve equipment-related problems .
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and data integrity requirements.
- Experience with laboratory systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS ).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
