Laboratory Systems Analyst Programmer

Support Winpath systems and SQL development as a full-time Systems Analyst/Programmer in Oxford’s Blood sciences Laboratories. Contribute to reliable diagnostic services.

This permanent post at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust supports laboratory systems across OUH. You will maintain and develop applications under laboratory management guidance. The work involves LIMS support, EPR coordination, data collection, statistical analysis, audit support, and system documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support for the Winpath enterprise laboratory system
• Support 24/7 laboratory operational capability through on-call duties
• Coordinate WPE and EPR changes with the EPR team
• Assist with statistical analysis, data collection, and audits
• Maintain accurate documentation for laboratory IT systems

Requirements:

• Maintain knowledge of SQL language development
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Use a methodical approach to assigned tasks
• Show excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• Work as a self-motivated team member
