Land Ceptor Functional Systems Engineer - Verification & Certification

As a Verification & Validation (V&V) and Certification Engineer, you will support the Land Ceptor Weapon System certification for UK and Poland programmes. You will analyse evidence and document verification/validation against requirements, working within the certification team to enable customer deliveries. You will review design verification plans and technical documents, identify gaps, and drive process improvements across a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. This is a hands-on role with real impact, offering growth and independent collaboration.

• Capture and review evidence as part of the certification team
• Conduct technical investigations and support delivery of Certificates of Designs
• Review and agree Design Verification Plans (DVP)
• Perform design reconciliation for changes and obsolescence
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, electrical, and software teams
• Identify verification gaps, track issues, and support corrective actions
• Prepare and review compliance documentation, verification reports, and evidence
• Drive process improvement and automation in ways of working

• Experience with IBM Rational Doors Classic
• Ability to analyse evidence and assess compliance against requirements
• Knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes and methodologies
• Experience preparing compliance documentation and certification evidence
