Lead Analyst - Capital (Igloo)

Eames Consulting Group

London · England · United Kingdom

Join a global insurance organisation in a Lead Analyst role supporting capital modelling and production across multiple legal entities. You will contribute to Group and regional capital models, including Solvency II-approved Internal Models, and help ensure robust, consistent and well-controlled production processes.

Reporting to the Head of Capital, you will produce and present model outputs, explain movements and support stakeholders across risk, capital management, reinsurance and investments. You will also contribute to quarterly model baselines, regulatory submissions, stress testing, risk appetite monitoring and ORSA activity.

The role will involve collecting and validating inputs, performing quality assurance, implementing controls, analysing results and maintaining model documentation. You will help integrate modelling processes across the organisation, improve resilience through common working practices and identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.

You will hold an MSc in a quantitative discipline, be a qualified actuary or possess an equivalent qualification, with at least five years' capital modelling experience in general insurance. You should understand Solvency II Internal Models and related regulatory regimes, with the confidence to communicate technical findings to senior and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, review and prioritisation skills are essential. Experience in actuarial pricing or reserving, Igloo, and programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB or VBA would be advantageous.

This is a primarily office-based opportunity offering significant stakeholder exposure within a collaborative global environment.
