Lead Azure Cloud Architect

Lead Azure cloud architecture at McKesson, shaping secure enterprise standards and hybrid solutions. Work in a Flex and Connect model with two office days weekly.

This Lead Cloud Solution Architect provides technical and architectural leadership across McKesson’s enterprise. You will shape cloud strategy, govern reference architectures, and guide complex implementations. The work spans Azure, hybrid environments, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise business units and technology leaders on cloud adoption strategies
• Define enterprise patterns, reference architectures, and design standards
• Shape security guardrails, governance models, and architectural standards
• Guide large-scale migrations and cloud onboarding initiatives
• Mentor architects and engineers through cloud enablement efforts

Requirements:

• Recognized cloud architecture expertise in regulated enterprises
• Deep Microsoft Azure expertise; AWS or GCP experience preferred
• Experience with microservices and Terraform or ARM templates
• Ability to influence decisions across teams and stakeholders
• Degree or equivalent and typically 10+ years of experience
