Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 4+ engineers and serve as the technical owner of projects
  • Own and drive Azure Platform DevOps, infrastructure automation and deployment
  • Deliver production software delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
  • Work across Azure (PaaS and IaaS) with credible cross-cloud capability (AWS desirable)
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
  • Maintain strong client-facing communication with senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with client teams and third-party suppliers to influence outcomes
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and pursue self-improvement including new languages
  • Utilize AI or Agentic tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and foster adoption within the team
  • Hold active SC clearance as required
Key requirements
  • Experience leading a team of 4+ engineers and acting as technical owner
  • Azure Platform DevOps, Infrastructure Automation & Deployment experience
  • Expert-level Azure certification (e.g. AZ-400 or AZ-305)
  • Scripting to automate operations tasks
  • Production pipelines using CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
  • Deep Azure experience across PaaS and IaaS
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (desirable)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
  • Strong client-facing skills and ability to simplify architecture for non-specialists
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with client/supplier teams
  • Willingness to learn new programming languages and approaches
  • SC clearance (active)
  • Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence
