Overview
In this Lead Business Analyst role, you shape and justify the move from manual planning to an integrated digital platform for trading and supply operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you define requirements, assess risks, and craft business cases to secure funding and prioritization. You will influence scope decisions early in the programme and ensure traceability from business needs to delivered solutions. This role blends Agile ways of working with hands-on analysis to drive a scalable planning platform.
Responsibilities- Capture problems, value drivers and requirements and translate them into clear functionality
- Assess risks, feasibility, opportunities and business impact
- Model processes, data flows and technology to identify improvement opportunities
- Create and maintain requirement documentation and ensure traceability across lifecycle
- Interact with suppliers, designers and developers to align requirements with system design
- Configure and document software/processes and coordinate testing
- Create acceptance criteria and validate solutions meet business needs
- Develop compelling business cases and secure approval and prioritization
- Plan, execute and monitor Business Analysis activities and lead stakeholder management and design sessions
- Agile project experience
- Understanding of Agile frameworks and tools
- Experience in Agile environments
- Ability to educate stakeholders in Agile ways of working
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts, data/process analysis and modeling
- Degree and four to seven years of IT experience
