Overview

In this role, you will lead business analysis efforts within the Product Team to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet client, operational, and regulatory needs. You’ll partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and tech teams to drive strategic initiatives, product enhancements, and process improvements that support growth and innovation. You’ll mentor a small BA team and shape backlog prioritisation to align with business objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role with global reach that values collaboration and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering with stakeholders and translate needs into clear business and functional specs
  • Facilitate workshops and elicitation sessions to uncover needs and drive outcomes
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and technology teams to align solutions with strategy
  • Create, maintain, and manage high-quality project and product documentation
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels and influence decisions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts including performance management
  • Prioritise team workload with Head of Business Analysis and allocate resources across projects
  • Ensure governance, risk management, and quality assurance throughout the change lifecycle
  • Champion Agile ways of working and foster collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance performance, outcomes, and efficiency
Key requirements
  • Extensive BA experience delivering complex change in financial services, fintech, or large global organisations
  • Experience as Senior/Lead BA or Team Leader with coaching responsibilities
  • Strong BA methodologies, tools, techniques, and certifications preferred
  • Proven elicitation, process mapping, BPM, and change management skills
  • Ability to deliver strategic and tactical solutions balancing business, tech, and customer needs
  • Experience in Agile environments and technology transformation; Agile certification or coaching is advantageous
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to handle complex information
  • Experience prioritising work and delivering in fast-paced, multi-project contexts
  • Commercial awareness with understanding of value, benefits, and risk management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of financial services products, platforms, and regulatory environments
  • Shareplan/EquatePlus knowledge is highly desirable
