Business Analyst- Azure Cloud Migration

• Duration: 3 months
• Location: Hybrid- 1 day per week in Central London or Chesterfield
• Start date: ASAP

We are hiring a Business Analyst with experience supporting cloud/technical platform migrations, with the key focus being a migration to Azure.The key requirement is someone who understands the BA role within a technical/cloud migration and can translate business and technical needs into clear, traceable requirements.

Further Responsibilities include:

• Produce artefacts in line with the Change Excellence Framework, aligned to the Business Analyst role across the SuccessFactors Update Project, End of Service Life Back Office Programme, and Back Office Prove Phase. Responsibilities include analysing and documenting business needs, eliciting and managing requirements, and ensuring requirements are clearly defined, fully traceable, and aligned to project objectives and business outcomes.
• Drive Alignment Across Stakeholders within People Services - Facilitate workshops, manage expectations, and maintain strong communication to ensure all parties have a shared understanding of scope, priorities and outcomes.
• Produce high‑quality meeting notes that clearly capture discussions, decisions and next steps, and schedule meetings as needed to keep the project progressing and support the project manager.

Skills/experience include:

• Analysing current and future‑state requirements as part of a platform migration
• Eliciting, documenting and managing requirements
• Working with technical teams and stakeholders to understand migration needs
• Ideally, having a good understanding of Azure architecture and cloud environments
• Other experience within another technical platform migration is beneficial. Relevant transferable experience could include cloud migrations, legacy-to-modern platform migrations, application migrations or other complex technology migrations.
