Lead Buyer - Information Technology

In this role you will lead a high-profile IT transformation procurement programme in the UK, coordinating with international colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers. You will act as the senior procurement lead, shaping SOWs, contracts and SRM approaches to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. You will drive supplier performance and value creation while navigating a cross-border environment. • Salary: Circa 50,000 - 60,000

• Lead strategic RFI/RFP activity to identify market players and partners for the programme
• Own and run procurement activities, gather needs, develop SOWs, manage contracts
• Develop and implement SRM strategy and operate without SRMS to ensure timeliness and quality
• Drive supplier performance, seek value creation, and manage issue escalations
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and suppliers across the project

• Experience running complex and strategic procurement programmes
• Comfortable working in an international context and building cross-border relationships
• Ability to own and run a large procurement project
• Security clearance requirements: British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship (BPSS checks after offer)
