Overview

As Lead Consultant, anchor Citrix and Windows Server infrastructure engagements, guiding problem definition, solution design, and deployment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure virtualization and server environments that support business needs. You’ll shape architecture reviews, drive best practices, and contribute to client capability building. This role combines technical leadership with client-facing collaboration to deliver resilient IT solutions at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments (XenApp/XenDesktop)
  • Manage StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Studio, Director, and licensing
  • Configure policies for performance, security, and user experience
  • Monitor environments, analyze trends, and proactively resolve issues
  • Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations
  • Manage user profiles, roaming profiles, FSLogix, and folder redirection
  • Install and maintain Windows Server 2012–2022
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services, IIS
  • Implement server hardening, performance tuning, capacity planning
  • Manage HA, clustering, DFS, and high-availability services
  • Apply security/compliance and identity management practices
  • Advanced patch management with WSUS/SCCM/Intune
  • Manage PKI and certificate renewal automation
  • Enterprise VMware experience; OS patching and vulnerability remediation
  • Create SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles; follow ITIL change, incident, and problem management processes
  • Lead engagement efforts, guide architecture and design reviews, anchor business pursuits and client training
  • Shape value-adding consulting solutions to meet changing client needs
Key requirements
  • Citrix Administration experience (XenApp/XenDesktop)
  • Windows Server administration across multiple versions
  • Experience with VMware
  • Strong understanding of HA, DR, and clustering
  • Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, IIS
  • Patch management (WSUS/SCCM/Intune)
  • PKI/certificates and renewal automation
  • ITIL-based change, incident, and problem management
  • SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base creation
  • Client-facing consulting and solution design experience
