A Lead Cloud Network Engineer opportunity for a business whose software products include AI and Automation software used by globally recognised companies. The Lead Cloud Network Engineer will support these global customers at a senior level and take a lead on high profile projects, so previous experience in a similar role is essential.
The Cloud Network Engineer will play a key role in the automation of their AWS infrastructure with a focus on scalability and security. Candidates from a Cisco Network background who have transitioned into Cloud network automation are preferred.
The company offer 3 days WFH per week, 2 days in their central London offices.
Core responsibilities
- Automation of AWS infrastructure
- Communicate effectively with team members and external customers globally
- Troubleshoot and test Cloud based network devices
- Implement Cloud service integrations, Data flows, AWS, Cloud VPN
Key requirements
- 5 years+ in Cloud based network environments
- Commercial experience with Infrastructure as Code / IaC: Terraform, Spacelift, Ansible or similar
- Comfortable coding with Python
- CI/CD, Github or similar
- Amazon Cloud watch is highly desirable
