Overview

As an Oracle Fusion HCM Lead, you implement and support UK Payroll and OTL in the Fusion HCM Cloud for public sector clients. You guide projects through SDLC, translating complex solutions for varied audiences and ensuring high system performance. You work with cross-functional teams on integrations, data migrations, and reporting, driving successful cloud implementations. This role combines hands-on technical execution with client-facing leadership and delivery accountability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Oracle Fusion HCM implementations for Payroll and OTL in UK clients
  • Demonstrate expert UK Payroll, Pension, and OTL knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Global Payroll/OTL Cloud for UK Public sector
  • Conduct System Integration Testing, support UAT and Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR) and hyper care
  • Utilize HDL, HDL Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Batch Loader
  • Explain complex solutions to technical, business and management audiences; review BP specs, config workbooks, testing, and change requests
  • Lead discussions on integrations, data migrations, and reports for Payroll and OTL
  • Oversee SDLC activities including CRPs/playback sessions and training content delivery
  • Prepare status reports with RAG, maintain RAID log
  • Coach and mentor team members and support delivery planning
  • Delivery planning and release planning (preferred)
  • Lean/Agile development experience (preferred)
Key requirements
  • 12+ years of Oracle Fusion HCM implementation experience for Payroll and OTL in the UK
  • Proficiency in UK Payroll, Pension, and OTL processes
  • Hands-on Oracle Global Payroll/OTL Cloud experience in UK Public sector
  • Knowledge of HDL, HDL Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Payroll Batch Loader
  • Strong communication skills across technical, business, and management audiences
  • Experience leading customer discussions on integrations, data migrations, and reports
  • Full SDLC lifecycle experience
  • RAID log and status reporting experience
  • Experience coaching and mentoring teams (5+ members)
  • Experience with Lean/Agile methods (preferred)
