Lead Consultant-Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud(Technical)-UK

Overview

As a Lead Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Architect, you will design and steer UK public sector implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud. You drive technical solutions across modules, data migration, and integrations, ensuring high performance and successful delivery through the SDLC. You translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and mentor the project team. This role blends architecture, hands-on delivery, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enable impactful public-sector HR transformations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM for UK clients
• Utilize HCM technical tools: HDL, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Payroll Batch Loader
• Explain complex functional/technical solutions to diverse audiences; walkthrough data mapping, environment planning, testing, and change requests
• Lead discussions on integrations, data migrations, and reports for Payroll, OTL, Absence, and related modules
• Oversee SDLC activities including CRPs/Playback sessions, training content, and technical component delivery
• Mentor junior developers and review technical designs for scalability and quality
• Identify and mitigate technical risks; troubleshoot and provide solutions to keep projects on track
• Manage Oracle HCM Cloud environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) and migrations of configurations/code
• Contribute to post-go-live support and system updates/patch management
• Work with UK Public Sector clients and employ Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies

• 14+ years IT experience, with at least 8 years as Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Architect in Oracle HCM Cloud
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, including Fast Formulas and BI Publisher reports
• Design/build/test integrations between HCM Cloud and other systems (OIC, HCM Extracts, HDL)
• Lead data migration efforts (extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading) ensuring data integrity
• Translate security models into configurations; assign custom roles and security profiles
• Use Redwood enablement tools for UI customization
• Mentor teams and ensure code quality through design reviews
• Strong analytical/problem-solving, risk management, and ability to work in a global delivery environment
• Experience with UK Public Sector clients; familiarity with SDLC practices and status reporting
