Overview

In this Data Analytics Lead role, you will steer data value creation for customers by transforming and sourcing data. You will partner with core technology and architecture teams to deliver strategic data solutions while promoting Agile and DevOps practices in data engineering. You will lead a team of analysts, shape the analytics strategy, and stay hands-on with analysis to drive growth. This is a chance to impact a Payments FinTech backed by a major UK bank, combining data, cloud tech, and cross‑functional collaboration to scale data-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow the analytics team
  • Perform and oversee data analysis and reporting (SQL, PowerBI or similar) and ETL pipelines
  • Lead the analytics strategy while remaining hands-on in analysis
  • Provide relevant insights to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with core technology and architecture teams to deliver strategic data solutions
  • Champion Agile and DevOps adoption in data engineering
Key requirements
  • Managing and growing a team of analysts
  • Strong experience in data analysis and reporting with extensive experience of SQL, PowerBI or similar tooling, ETL pipelines
  • Leading the analytics strategy while staying hands-on in analysis
  • Delivering insights to drive growth
  • Experience of Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory (highly desirable)
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders on overall business strategy
