In this role, you’ll help Shape and deliver data products and digital solutions within SSE’s Data & Analytics function. You’ll translate business needs into actionable requirements and support end-to-end delivery, partnering with Data Product Management and cross-functional squads. You’ll work on data-driven initiatives that improve decision-making, efficiency, and regulatory outcomes. This is a data-led transformation role at the heart of SSE’s energy transition, offering collaboration across teams and real business impact.

- Elicit, analyse and document requirements for data and digital initiatives aligned to business priorities
- Serve as the interface between business users and delivery teams to ensure clear understanding and refined requirements
- Support the full delivery lifecycle of data products from discovery to sign-off
- Investigate source systems, data structures and attributes to inform solution design
- Collaborate with Data Product Manager to manage demand, prioritisation, and planning forums
- Experience as a Business Analyst delivering digital or data-focused initiatives in a complex organisation
- Strong understanding of data concepts including data models and data flows
- Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or equivalent)
- Practical exposure to Power BI or Power Platform for engagement and validation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence across diverse teams
