Lead Data Analyst Power BI

Lead Power BI analytics in Ottawa’s hybrid workplace, applying DAX, SQL, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen electricity-sector reporting. Three days onsite weekly.

This Data Analyst opportunity supports a national association serving Canada’s electricity sector. You will lead reliability intelligence programs, coordinate industry committees, and translate complex information into useful insights. The work combines data governance, reporting improvements, and people leadership across internal and external relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee data collection, validation, analysis, and annual reliability reporting
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
• Manage industry committee meetings, communications, and follow-up activities
• Oversee data governance, database enhancements, and reporting improvements
• Coach team members, delegate responsibilities, and establish priorities

Requirements:

• Previous data analytics experience, preferably including team leadership
• Advanced Power BI and DAX programming expertise
• Strong SQL, database, Excel, and Microsoft Office knowledge
• Degree or diploma with demonstrated project management knowledge
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder engagement skills
