Lead Data Engineer . Position: Lead Data Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
5-8 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and Python for data processing, transformation, and analytics. Mandatory experience working in the Insurance domain, with a solid understanding of insurance data, reporting, and business processes. Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, and optimization. Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support enterprise-wide data integration and analytics initiatives. Strong experience in developing and optimizing Stored Procedures, Tasks, and dbt models for efficient data transformation workflows. Expertise in data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and implementing scalable data architecture solutions. Hands‑on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or equivalent platforms for scheduling and monitoring data pipelines. Build and support high-performance, reliable, and secure data solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Perform data quality validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage technical teams and business stakeholders across large-scale programs.
