Overview

You will lead design and delivery for a greenfield real-time market data platform within a fast-paced fintech. In this role you align with the Engineering Team to shape product development and contribute to architecture strategy. You will tackle challenging data and API problems, enabling pricing tools and fund analysis at scale. The environment is tech-driven and collaborative, with focus on meaningful impact and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design and delivery of new products and features on the platform
  • Contribute to Architecture Group to define technology and process strategy
  • Occasionally lead innovation or technical debt refactoring pieces
  • Work in a fast-changing, tech-driven environment and mentor teammates
Key requirements
  • Degree ideally Comp Sci
  • Strong knowledge of Object Orientation, SOA, and design patterns like IoC
  • Proven experience with Visual Studio 2013+ and .NET Framework 4.5.2+
  • Demonstrable understanding of test driven development
  • Appreciation of DevOps practices using Git, TeamCity, and Chef
  • Experience with messaging/transactional systems (NServiceBus, Websphere MQ, MSMQ, or RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular/Knockout.js)
  • Experience with XML/JSON and related schemas/XSLT
  • Experience with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server (2012+)
