Overview

In this hybrid role you will own and evolve the cloud infrastructure for a growing data business, focusing on Azure reliability, security, and cost efficiency. You’ll drive a migration programme and establish DevOps standards, IaC, CI/CD, and observability to scale a B2B data platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve developer experience and platform reliability, making a meaningful impact as the platform grows.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the Azure cloud estate with emphasis on security, reliability and cost control
  • Lead adoption of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code to bring existing infrastructure under management
  • Operate Kubernetes workloads including deployments, ingress, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting and daily platform operations
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Support cloud migration and separation projects across Azure and GCP
  • Design, automate and test disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
  • Improve monitoring, alerting and observability across the platform
  • Manage cloud security, identity, secrets and certificates
  • Provide technical guidance on Azure architecture and platform engineering
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as senior escalation point
  • Collaborate with development/technology teams to boost platform reliability and developer experience
Key requirements
  • Experience with Azure cloud estate management
  • Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
  • Kubernetes administration and operations
  • CI/CD tooling experience (Azure DevOps)
  • Cloud migration and multi-cloud (Azure and GCP)
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity design
  • Monitoring and observability practices
