Lead Digitisation Engineer

In this role, you will lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of automated data pipelines, IoT integration, and advanced analytics for smart manufacturing. You will connect traditional microelectronics processes with modern digital infrastructure to optimise yield, enable predictive maintenance, and enable lights-out automation. You’ll work closely with process engineers and cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions. • Design and own the Industry 4.0 strategy and roadmap
• Integrate legacy equipment with modern microelectronics automation
• Architect robust data pipelines for data collection, storage, and analysis
• Collaborate to implement APC, SPC, and machine learning models
• Lead multidisciplinary projects and foster data-driven decision-making
• Evaluate and manage external software vendors, equipment manufacturers, and system integrators

• Experience in smart manufacturing, automation, or data engineering within microelectronics assembly or high-precision manufacturing
• Proven leadership of digital transformation/Industry 4.0 projects from concept to deployment
• Familiarity with microelectronics assembly equipment and factory automation protocols
• Proficiency in programming languages used for data analysis and automation
• Experience with time-series databases and modern data visualization tools
• Working knowledge of cloud or edge computing architectures
