Lead Embedded Software Engineer

Hiring: Embedded Software Technical Lead | Grand Rapids, MI

I’m looking for an embedded software professional who enjoys hands-on development and leading a team to deliver aerospace software.

In this role, you’ll lead daily software activities, contribute to embedded software solutions, and manage technical scope, cost, schedule, risks, and deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll also serve as Control Account Manager for assigned project elements and collaborate closely with customers and engineering leadership.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• At least 4 years of embedded software development experience
• U.S. citizenship required

Preferred:

• At least 5 years of experience with DO-178B/C development and certification across the full software lifecycle
• Experience with DO-178B/C DAL B
• DO-297 / Integrated Modular Avionics application development experience
• Strong technical leadership and project management skills
• Experience leading global or virtual teams
