Lead Engineer, Enterprise Applications

As Lead Engineer, Enterprise Applications in Westlake, you will own complex production app services with a focus on identity and access management. You will work closely with IT and development teams to keep systems healthy, secure, and highly available, while providing 24x7 on-call support. You’ll drive automation and process improvements to reduce outages and accelerate incident resolution. This role sits at the intersection of operations and engineering, shaping reliable enterprise applications at scale for a global tech-enabled company.

• Diagnose and resolve complex application issues and coordinate with department heads to fix root causes
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis
• Monitor application performance and implement strategies to improve uptime and performance
• Manage and resolve technical issues, generate incident reports, and drive resolution
• Regularly review systems for health, security, and availability
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure proper project implementation and updates
• Document procedures to ensure long-term operational guidance
• Oversee monitoring, performance, availability, security, recovery, and throughput of application services
• Oversee operational integrity of tools, systems, and infrastructure, including changes affecting services

• Experience with identity and access management in production
• Strong technical background with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with multi-tier web applications, middleware, containers, databases, and networking
