You will shape the technical foundation for money movement capabilities, driving the design and development of reliable, scalable, and secure services that power global payment products. Your work will directly impact business outcomes, with a focus on building high-throughput platform services, integrating AI to enhance developer workflows, and launching a global bill payment solution. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, risk, and operations teams to solve complex financial technology challenges at scale.

We seek a seasoned engineer with experience in distributed backend systems, API design, and both SQL and NoSQL databases. Proficiency in modern backend stacks like Go, Java, C#, or C++ and cloud platforms such as AWS is required. Strong leadership skills, the ability to break down complex problems, and a passion for hands‑on coding and mentoring are essential. The role is based in Vancouver, with a hybrid model (1-2 days in office), and is open to ON, AB, or Seattle-based candidates. The base salary range in Canada is $186,000–$236,000 CAD.
