As Lead Funds Data Architect, you will define the data strategy for the Funds domain and drive architecturally sound solutions that support fund accounting, administration, ETFs, IBOR, ABOR, and regulatory reporting. You will partner across teams to ensure data governance, lineage, and quality while delivering scalable data models and architectures. This role blends domain expertise with hands-on design to enable accurate reporting and compliant data flows. You’ll work in a technology-led environment that values clear governance and impactful data enablement.

- Define and articulate the Funds data strategy and architecture vision aligned with enterprise data initiatives and regulatory needs
- Apply deep Funds domain knowledge to design efficient data models and data flows for accounting, administration, ETFs, IBOR, and ABOR
- Architect robust, scalable, secure data solutions including data warehouses, data lakes, and integration patterns
- Champion data governance, data quality, and policy adherence across Funds data
- Establish and maintain data lineage and metadata management for auditability
- Lead data modeling efforts (conceptual, logical, physical) with emphasis on reusability and extensibility
- Perform detailed data analysis, capture stakeholder requirements, and translate into technical specs
- Provide architectural oversight during implementation and resolve data-related challenges
- Design data structures and access patterns for internal/external reporting and regulatory filings
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and methodologies to enhance Funds data capabilities
- 12+ years in data analysis, architecture, or data warehousing
- 5+ years in financial services, Funds domain (fund accounting, administration, ETFs, IBOR, ABOR)
- Proven experience with Fund accounting, Fund Administration, ETFs, IBOR, ABOR, and financial reporting
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Data modeling tools (ER/Studio, Erwin)
- SQL and database proficiency (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Data integration (ETL/ELT, APIs)
