Overview

In this role you lead the strategy and architecture of a modern identity platform spanning Okta, Entra ID and AD, guiding a team of IAM engineers. You shape the IAM roadmap, design secure, scalable solutions, and collaborate with Security, Infra, Cloud and Apps teams to deliver seamless user experiences. You’ll implement SSO, MFA and identity governance in an agile environment and drive automation to improve resilience and efficiency. This is a chance to influence IAM at a global financial data provider.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive IAM strategy and architecture across Okta, Entra ID and Active Directory
  • Lead and mentor IAM engineering team, setting engineering standards
  • Design and deliver enterprise-scale IAM solutions and governance processes
  • Lead architecture discussions and contribute to the IAM roadmap
  • Implement secure, scalable authentication and identity governance (SSO, MFA, lifecycle automation) and application integrations
  • Develop automation using PowerShell and Okta Workflows
  • Improve resilience and scalability of the identity platform
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud and Application teams to deliver seamless user experiences
Key requirements
  • Hands-on experience engineering enterprise IAM solutions
  • Okta SSO and Lifecycle Management
  • Okta Identity Governance (OIG) and Okta Workflows
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
  • Hands-on with engineering work while leading technical initiatives
  • Experience with Active Directory in complex environments
  • Knowledge of AD Group Policy and hybrid identity architectures
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure App Proxy
  • Strong PowerShell scripting for automation
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
