Overview

In this role you shape enterprise technology direction by turning market and idea insights into practical roadmaps and measurable outcomes. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, technical specialists and delivery teams across an international organisation to move concepts from concept to pilot and scale. You will translate strategy into prioritised initiatives, governance frameworks and technology plans, balancing value, risk and feasibility. You lead innovation programmes such as labs and PoCs, and influence executives through clear, credible outputs. Responsibilities
  • Translate strategic goals into prioritised initiatives, investment cases and technology roadmaps
  • Lead horizon scanning and competitive analysis for 3–5 year perspectives
  • Produce executive materials and strategic recommendations that simplify complex topics
  • Design and run innovation programmes including labs, hackathons and PoCs
  • Partner with stakeholders to diagnose challenges and recommend best-fit technologies
  • Evaluate architecture proposals with governance and commercial discipline
  • Investigate unfamiliar domains by engaging specialists and validating assumptions
  • Influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional, cross-country initiatives
  • Mentor and champion best practices in technology strategy, architecture and responsible innovation
  • Support strategic work for customers and major programmes with on-site engagements
Key requirements
  • Relevant experience in technology strategy, CTO advisory, enterprise architecture, innovation, digital strategy, technology transformation or consulting
  • Broad technology profile with understanding across the stack and ability to dive into unfamiliar subjects
  • Ability to connect technology trends with business, commercial and customer considerations
  • Experience developing technology or domain strategies and producing executive materials
  • Knowledge of architecture disciplines and frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe) plus agile, DevOps and DevSecOps familiarity
  • Strong business acumen, analytical judgement, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communication, presentation and influencing skills for executive-level audiences
  • Collaborative style and credibility to work with senior leaders across functions and countries
  • Autonomy, reliability and comfort with ambiguity, delivering high-quality work
  • Responsible approach to AI-assisted work and information protection
