Morgan Stanley seeks a Vice President-level Lead Software Engineering professional to develop strategic Risk Management applications. The position involves backend and frontend development, RESTful services, Agile/DevOps delivery, and collaboration with product leads, analysts, users, and global teams. This work supports regulatory compliance, enterprise risk governance, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain Risk Management applications
  • Develop scalable Core Java, Spring, and Spark backends
  • Build frontend capabilities with Angular or React
  • Implement RESTful services and service-oriented architectures
  • Perform testing, deployment, and production support

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years developing Core Java, Spring, and Spark applications
  • At least 2 years with Angular or React
  • Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Snowflake and data engineering practices
  • French and English knowledge required
