Lead Medical Billing Specialist

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Lead Medical Billing Specialist will oversee billing processes, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely from designated states. Key responsibilities Acts as a proxy for the department manager, coordinating productivity and quality programs, and mentoring the Medical Billing Team Designs and implements onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing caregivers, ensuring adherence to billing compliance and payer guidelines Collaborates with various departments to analyze and resolve complex billing issues, providing extensive review and analysis of claims Required qualifications High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred Four years of non-clinical healthcare experience, preferably in revenue cycle, is preferred Previous leadership experience is highly preferred Knowledge of hospital and professional billing compliance and payer guidelines Proficiency in researching and resolving complex billing questions and discrepancies
