Lead .NET Platform Engineer

Own Buyerlink’s customer-facing .NET marketplace platform onsite in Victoria, BC, using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server expertise. Guide production decisions across live transaction systems.

As Lead .NET Engineer, you will set technical direction for the marketplace platform and remain accountable for its health. You will design, develop, test, and release features while working with engineering, product, and business colleagues across multiple countries. The role combines platform ownership, technical leadership, production support, API development, SQL Server performance, and legacy modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own design, development, testing, and release across .NET applications
• Resolve production issues through root cause
• Modernize legacy systems without interrupting marketplace operations
• Design APIs for partners, dealers, and internal systems
• Direct overnight technical work and review completed changes

Requirements:

• Five to eight years building production .NET applications
• Strong C#, ASP.NET, and modern and legacy .NET experience
• API development and external partner integration experience
• SQL Server optimization, indexing, and schema design depth
• Production Azure experience and clear written communication
