Overview

As Lead Network Strategy Analyst, you will shape the long-term network plan for British Airways, turning data into strategic routes and connectivity decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams across BA, IAG and partners to influence network growth and Heathrow planning. You’ll analyze markets, demand, and competition to identify opportunities and risks, then present concise recommendations to senior leaders. Responsibilities
  • Develop network strategies to support long-term planning and growth
  • Analyze route and network performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders
  • Monitor market demand, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform decisions
  • Collaborate with BA, IAG, and partner teams to support network development
  • Help shape connectivity and planning strategies for the Heathrow hub
Key requirements
  • Numerate degree or equivalent analytical experience
  • Strong understanding of airline economics and aviation commercial drivers
  • Knowledge of the British Airways network, fleet and operational considerations
  • Awareness of competitor and partner airline networks
  • Experience analyzing data and developing clear recommendations
  • Experience delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • Curiosity and problem-solving mindset
