Lead Offensive Security Testing

Lead EQ Bank’s cyber resilience testing and offensive security program from Toronto, using red team exercises and threat simulations. Hybrid work supports technical stakeholder engagement.

This lead role designs, plans, and executes Cyber Resilience Testing across the bank. You will manage red team objectives, infrastructure penetration testing, and threat simulation activities. The work also covers cyber control effectiveness, standards, monitoring, and technical guidance for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute red team exercises and threat simulations
• Identify yearly objectives for red team and infrastructure penetration testing
• Test enterprise cyber security controls and inform roadmap prioritization
• Maintain standards, procedures, and guidelines for assigned domains
• Present technical cyber control effectiveness to key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Computer science diploma, degree, or recognized industry certification
• Minimum seven years of technical information technology experience
• Three to five years in offensive security roles
• Knowledge of MITRE cyber controls testing frameworks
• Strong engineering and automation experience; security automation preferred
