Lead Operational Technology Systems Engineer

Lead Operational Technology systems engineering at Celestica through Java, PHP, HTML, and SQL application development. Work in a normal office environment.

This individual contributor designs, integrates, and manages complex systems throughout their life cycles. The position connects corporate IT compliance with factory-floor Operations Technology and supports high-quality product development. Responsibilities span requirements engineering, reliability, testing, maintainability, and coordination across engineering teams, customers, suppliers, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure, modernize, and maintain high-value industrial assets
• Develop applications integrating production equipment with shop-floor control systems
• Address Site OT security vulnerabilities without impacting production
• Build software solutions and maintain legacy manufacturing applications
• Manage storage and disaster recovery systems using ZFS familiarity

Requirements:

• Five to seven years of related experience
• Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experience
• Programming skills in Java, PHP, HTML, and SQL
• Deep infrastructure knowledge and autonomous initiative
• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency for Controlled Goods requirements
